The CCC process in videos: interviews with the partners
Posted on 13 November 2023

Every year Regieorgaan SIA presents the RAAK award for the best practice-oriented research. Led by Maaike van de Kamp – Romijn of Naturalis, this year the jury nominated 6 projects for the award. One of them is our Circular Cotton Cascade project. You can vote for the Circular Cotton Cascade here

We created a campaign in which we interviewed our partners. The steps in the cotton cascade are shown in the videos. This page will be updated when new videos are available. In total there are 5 videos.

Part 1

Aneel Kumar Ambavaram, founder of Grameena Vikas Kendram in India tells us about the first step in the Circular Cotton Cascade. It all starts with the seed.

Part 2

In the second part of the process, Kees Timmermans, textile innovator at HAVEP, explains the process for producing workwear.

Part 3

Sanne, Managing director of Yassasree BV, tells us the process in this project for producing the T-Shirt.

Part 4

In this part of the process Thalia van Mensvoort, regional QESH manager CWS, explains the process for generating cotton towel rolls in the Cotton Cascade.

Part 5

Anna Schilizzi, from I-DID, tells us about the process for landscape fabric.
